Hellsten Hotels Stockholm is centrally located boutique hotels in Vasastan and Södermalm in Stockholm. Today, it is a hotel group consisting of 5 hotels: Hotel Hellsten, Rex Hotel, Rex Petit, Hellstens Malmgård, and Hellstens Glashus. We are now looking for a part-time supervisor for our team of Housekeeping Supervisors who can work every third weekend and some weekdays. You will work in a small team alongside other supervisors and the department manager. You will also have daily contact with the hotel's other departments. The ability to collaborate and communicate is therefore of utmost importance in this role. Your main responsibilities include leading and distributing the daily work within Housekeeping for the hotels in the group. Task distribution, work management, quality and cleaning controls, and ordering are part of your duties. As a Supervisor, you will also need to step in and support operations as needed with room cleaning, housekeeping, laundry management, and more. You maintain cleanliness in the hotels and ensure that the hotels' cleaning and environmental concepts are followed. We place great emphasis on comfort and work environment within the group, and the ability to motivate and inspire employees is needed to maintain and help us further develop this work.
As a person, you should enjoy working in a team and be solution-oriented to thrive in the role. We have digitized a large part of our communication and work with the housekeeping system HOPR and Clock PMS. If you have experience with systems and Microsoft 365, it is a plus but not a requirement. Since you have several workplaces, you should also enjoy different environments and be flexible as the workplace may vary throughout the day depending on operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Staffing and scheduling according to occupancy.
- Quality assurance and supervision of cleaning staff.
- Responsible for the daily cleaning of rooms and public areas. Ensure that furniture, equipment, and premises are clean.
- Cleaning of rooms and common areas.
- Reporting faults and maintenance.
- Develop, motivate, and lead the staff. Contribute to a positive and creative work environment. Ensure that all staff have the right knowledge and conditions to perform their work in a way that meets quality standards. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies regarding the work environment in cleaning.
- Ordering and purchasing of consumables.
- Responsible for inventory, linen, stock of cleaning agents, hygiene products, and other equipment and machinery.
- The position is a part-time employment of 20% and the work is scheduled on weekdays and weekends. The position is distributed among all 5 hotels in Stockholm, and your working hours will be divided between the hotels. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
